Saints face a tough task to progress in the FA Cup this year after being drawn at home to current holders Chelsea.
The 3rd round draw saw Southampton, the only side from our area still in the competition, drawn first to ensure a home tie and be one of four all Premier League clashes.
Other key games sees Manchester United play West Ham, QPR host West Brom and Arsenal visit Swansea in the other top-flight ties.
Manchester City will play Watford, while non-league Harrogate or Hastings will play Middlesbrough, and Lincoln or Mansfield will welcome Liverpool.
The ties will be played on January 5 and 6.
